Fuel Policy
- Free Fuel Bookings: Fuel is included in bookings where explicitly stated. To claim fuel reimbursement, a valid fuel bill must be submitted, including:
- Fuel quantity
- Date of purchase
- Cost of fuel
- No Fuel Bookings: The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at the start of the booking.
- Refueling Penalty: If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, a penalty will apply as per the Fee Policy / Rate Schedule.
Speed Governor
Some Goorito vehicles may have a speed governor limiting speed to 80 km/h as per government regulations.
Users will receive an SMS notification regarding this feature on their registered mobile number.
Breakdown of Vehicle
- If a member is responsible for a vehicle breakdown, they must bear the costs of repair, recovery, and loss of use, as outlined in the Fee Policy / Rate Schedule.
- If the breakdown is not due to the member's fault, Goorito will refund unused booking hours but is not liable for any other costs incurred.
Usage of Goorito/Driving Credits
- Credits can be used for up to 30% of the booking amount (excluding refundable deposits) or ₹10,000, whichever is lower.
- All credits have an individual expiry date, which can be checked in the Credit Transaction Details section of the app or website.
Security and Data Protection
- We use encryption, firewalls, and secure access protocols to protect user data.
- Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their accounts and passwords.
- While we strive to protect data, no online service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Third-Party Data Sharing
- We do not sell personal data to third parties.
- Certain data may be shared with:
- Law enforcement (if required by law)
- Third-party service providers (for processing transactions)
Cookies & Tracking Technologies
- Session cookies are used to enhance user experience.
